Sam's Club ~ how do know what is on sale at sams
I went today and I thought some of it was hard to tell if it was on sale or not.
How do you know if it is a good price to buy at or not anything
and on meats too?

Not sure what you mean by being 'on sale'. Sam's doesn't really have items on sale. Just offers lower prices for buying in bulk.
On the other hand, to make sure I'm getting a good deal at Sam's, I figure out what I'm paying per ounce, pound, can, bag, etc. Like I can buy a bundle of Allen's Green Beans cheaper at Sam's rather than at a regulary grocery store. Another example: Sam's sells Thomas English Muffins cheaper than in the grocery store, BUT Meijer has had a sale on them this week. By combining the sale with a peelie coupon, I got a better deal there than I would have at Sam's.
It's just a numbers game. I hope what I've said makes sense?
The only other thing Sam's would offer as something on sale would be marking down returned/damaged merchandise, or doing markdowns on items that are slow movers.
One thing I do is go to www.samsclub.com, and go to their Click N Pull. You can search items they carry in their store, and see the prices. I don't think you can check meat prices, but all other groceries should be on there. I check it everytime I want to compare to other grocer's sale items to see who has the best deal.
(my husband has worked at Sam's Club for five years)

I am not sure what you mean by being on sale either. I always compare prices by going to their website and looking at it and comparing it with the grocery stores/retail stores ad online with my coupons to see if Say a laundry soap sale is a good price compared to my usual .11 something a cent Era detergent. Try keeping a price log of items you normally buy.
