I used to but not anymore. I buy the stuff cheap and accept the fact that the resale value in general has gone way way way down since my daughter was born almost 5 years ago. I keep my favorite items and the rest gets sold or given away... :)
I got DD a cute tutu/cardigan/shirt set for xmas from Gymbo and wanted to resell it but its so cute I want to keep it, lol - she's actually going to wear the tutu & cardigan fro Vday since it will still fit her.
The whole reason I wanted to start buying from there was to resell once she grew out of stuff because I know the return you get on Gymbo clothing is better than average.
Anyone else have this problem with parting with the Gymbo clothes?

Guilty!
I keep saying I need to list some stuff, but then I am like, what if they don't take care it the way I did. HA, it sounds as though I need therapy. At the same time, I say by the time I have another one, there will be new lines to be addicted too. Ugh, such a tug of war.
I wanted to chime in to say the resell has really not been good. Try not to get hooked on it thinking you can get a good deal back. True you will be able to sell some of the things you have at a decent return still but most will go for very little.

There is a better resell value on Gymboree than other brands, but there are several "ifs" that go with it. True "addicts" want clothing that looks like it's never been worn. I don't know about you, but my daughter can trash an outfit in 30 seconds. Sure, I stain treat, but I sure as heck don't "line dry".
I buy Gymboree first because it's cute, and second because the quality is excellent. So I tend to save her Gymboree on the chances of another, or a niece.
I have had pretty good luck with resell, but I'm on a number of yahoo groups for reselling and I do ebay. I will say this...little bitty baby girl clothes are harder to sell than others...24 mo-5/6 is probably the sweet spot. And since I've been wanting to resell, I don't dry my Gymbo. I also spend a bit more these days on Oxiclean...but now that I've made an initial investment, I can resell what I own to pay for the next set of clothes I need. I have a 2 yr old and 4 yr old...both girls...and I do think there's a bigger market for girls clothes, but then boys clothes do pretty well on ebay because there aren't as many people selling. :)
Good luck!
I've been buying Gymbo since my oldest daughter (now 16) was wearing it. My youngest daughter's wardrobe (she's 3) is still comprised of mostly Gymboree. Resell isn't bad, but it certainly isn't the same. There was a period of time when their design team changed, the "lines" weren't named, and basically the pieces were high priced junk. I was lucky that coincided with my reselling of my middle daughter's "older line" size 3/4 sets. I made a small fortune. I remember selling one pair of used leggings for $23 and a matching shirt for almost as much. Not to mention the blankets -- I had a couple that I was able to sell used for over $100. Even the basic, solid color shirts that matched those "older" lines went for $10-$12 a piece used. Boy did I enjoy raking in the profits then.....and that was back when ebay didn't take quite as big a chunk out of my profits as well!
And I agree with the previous poster - there are many yahoo groups dedicated to Gymboree clothing (I'm a mod on one of them) and they are a great way to resell sets without having to hassle with ebay!

Hi, thanks for the info! I have noticed when I am trying to buy some Gymboree off of ebay the prices do seem sort of high even one many of the EUC items. Is that just because a line might be more popular?
I tried like crazy to get some items from the Cupcake Cutie line before Christmas and had zero luck. There were a ton of auctions for it on ebay but I just didn't want to pay too much for the clothing items knowing they would not be worn for long.
