Old Navy ~ Can't wait for the Old Navy winter clearance!

Anyone know when Old Navy is doing their huge Jan. clearance? I think last year it was either 75% or else it was 1/2 off the lowest clearance price. I totally stocked up for my son for super cheap and would love to do this again. I looked back at my credit card statement from then and I shopped it on Jan. 12 last year. When I went last weekend, it was 60% off. With the $10 off $50 coupon, this could mean some excellent deals.

Oh, I LOVE this sale.

I went today and our store was TRASHED.
They were getting spring stuff out.

I went last week at my store and returned some stuff my DD got for xmas, which gave me $70+ to spend. I was stoked as it was up to 75% off on clearance items. I got over $180 worth of clothing for nothing! I mostly got her some stuff to wear for the rest of the winter and for spring this year and a few things for next fall/winter. I was loving that the thermals were $3.40/each. I bought most of her summer wardrobe from there before winter this year and all on clearance too so she really doesn't need more summer stuff, lol

Unfortunatly, the fleece stuff wasn't low enough for me to bite (only half off and I got a better deal on it a couple of months ago when they had a sale like two/three months before xmas).

I was bummed about there not being much of a jeans selection for her as well but I can usually find better deals at Once Upon a Child for jeans in just as good as new condition.

So I am getting confused here. I went in on Thursday to check the store out in person, and I called in on Sat. I saw and was told that my store had clearance up to 75% off, but were not slated to do the half off the lowest clearance ticket at all this winter!! Looking back at last year, that is the sale I have been waiting for--I was able to score all my sons' shirts for about $2 a piece, hoodies for like $4, etc. The guy on the phone said only some stores will have the half off the lowest, and that my store "wasn't selected". I am still wondering if that is accurate though. I'm shooting for next weekend.

I'm really bummed.... I went to my Old Navy yesterday-- signs on the outside said Up to 75% off.... went in and it was cleaned out. The store looked really bare besides new Spring items. Nothing wintery.... I wonder if they sent all of the winter stock to outlets?!? I always look forward to this every year for my kids' clothes for the next year.
