Wow this is awesome, thank you so much!
Someone had a question about the general sale cycles of TCP, so I am going to try to give a month by month price cycle as best I can.
January: Monster Sale on winter/holiday clothing. Probably addtional 30% off for at least 1 week and additional 50% off the sale prices for at least 1 week. Spring Preview and Valentine's will show up at the beginning of the month and more Spring 1 clothing will be set as the month goes on.
February: The week before Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day items will go on sale, usually 30% off original price. After VDay, they will be hardmarked. Spring Preview items will go on sale. Depending on when Easter is, Spring 2 clothing will be set and some of Spring 1 will go on sale.
March: Again, it depends on what week Easter falls in. Easter/Spring 2 items will go on sale before Easter, some years it has been 1 week before and other years it has been 2 weeks before. Summer Preview might show up.
April: A few weeks after all of our Spring set has gone on sale, it will probably go to additional 30% and additional 50% off. Summer Preview will definitely be in stores, followed by Summer 1 floorset. Summer 2 will appear at the end of April or beginning of May.
May: Beginning of the month isn't great for sales, but towards the end of the month, GREAT sales on summer. (Think Memorial Day!) July 4th Clothes will probably be in.
June: Sales! Summer Monster Sale happens around Memorial Day, and afterwards, again look for additional 30% and additional 50% off sale prices. Fall Preview will set. End of June/Early July brings Fall 1 Floorset.
July: The week before July 4th, our Patriotic clothing will go on sale, again usually 30% off. Those items will be hardmarked after the holiday. Fall 1 might go on sale, but usually nothing to be too excited about. Get your backpacks/lunchboxes/binders now though! We always run out before they go on a good sale. Fall 2 floorset might show up, depending on district.
August: Fall 2 sets. Towards the end of the month or in early September, great sales on fall clothes! Halloween costumes will most likely be set after school starts.
September: Labor Day means sales! Fall clothes seem to always end up being great deals and the long sleeves can be used through winter, so if you live in a cold region, stock up on long sleeve graphic tees to get you through before winter/holiday stuff goes on sale. Additional 30% and additional 50% off will probably occur in mid to late Sept.
October: HOLIDAY ARRIVES! Preview, at least. Depending on the year, Holiday 1 might even set. Additional 50% off fall will probably have ended by the 2nd week of Oct.
November: More holiday will show up. Holiday 1 will go on sale for sure. Parts of holiday 2 might go on sale, but don't bank on it. Black Friday: Usually we offer 20% off your entire purchase before 11am or noon, but the actual sale prices will be the same Tues, Wed, Fri, and Sat. (Sometimes the Mon before Thanksgiving and Sunday after it are included, ask at your store). The sales will mostly be "POS" which means the items are not hardmarked and are only on sale for those few days and the price will go back to normal before monster sale in Dec.
December: Look early in the month for coats to go on sale, with an additional 30% and additional 50% off to follow. Some years we offer gift card promos or gift with purchase during December, ask at your store. Monster Sale has started Dec. 24th the past 2 years, which means all holiday items are hardmarked. Spring Preview will be in stores.
Hope this helps you guys as you plan when to buy things, especially for those who have a long drive to a TCP and want to make it worth it. You can always check online, the prices are almost always the same--the exception being the sale price lasts into "Cyber Monday" after Black Friday online but doesn't in the store. Also, online will sometimes have a few items that can only be found in outlet stores. Monster Sale has been known to show up a couple days early online, it usually starts on Tues or Wed in store, call your store and ask.

I just wanted to mention that there are lots of new sale items up on childrensplace.com I was reallly wanting some new shorts for my DS as he only has one pair right now that fit him. They have the cargo shorts for 6.99 in khaki, navy and a gray color. They also have a lot of their graphic tees for 3.49. I have such a hard time finding his size 4T as they are always gone first. I was so excited!
Did anybody who went into the store see the 99c clothes yet? I stocked up for my baby last year. I have to find 1 year clothes now........TIA
Extra 10% off code:

I found that on a blog (mbh blog). Not sure if I am allowed to post their name though.
I signed up at the outlet store a couple years ago, and about every other month I get an advertisement with the new seasons offerings and 2 "15%" off coupons in the back. A new one always shows up about the time the current one expires. At my store the ladies usually scan the coupon and hand it back to me to use again. Thanks for the schedule. I just used to always pop in every few weeks or so and hope I caught a good sale.![]()
If you sign your children up for the birthday club that they have you also get 15% off the whole month of their birthday. I also have a TCP credit card (which I pay off as soon as I make a purchase) and you get an extra 10% off right then and there! So that makes like 25% off of your total purchase.![]()
