Rumor .... Triple coupons this week

I am talking to my mom and she saw the ad for this week at my grandfathers and it said they are having TRIPLE coupons this week. I will check it out but was to excited to wait to tell someone.

I just checked the flyer online for the Waldbaums near me (I'm in Queens, NY) and on the flyer, it said triple coupons week. I didn't really see anything great in the flyer that I could match up.

These were the few things I saw:

Betty Crocker Frosting - Price $1.50 - Coupons for .50 cents from 10/19 SS - making it FREE
Betty Crocker Warm Delights Bowl - 2/for $4 - Coupons for .50 cents (I forgot which insert but these expire 11/1 so if you have them, make sure to use them before Saturday) - making them .50 cents - not Free but cheap
Arnold Soft Naturals Bread - 2/for $5 - Coupons for .55 cents from 10/12 SS - making it .85 cents - not Free but cheap

Went this morning, spent about $20, was -1¢. Had to throw in a candy bar before the cashier figured out it ALL tripled. even my 75¢ tripled on a $1.99 item to $2.25. And I had to keep back 2 of my $1 coups.

Let's see. some kind of ziploc bag, was $2.99 had .75 tripled.got 1
Healthy Choice meat was $1.99 had .75 tripled, got 4
roll for .49
tomato was .86
No Fear energy drink was $1.99, had .75 tripled. got 4
Cut rite wax paper was $1.89, had .50 tripled.
Lipton tea bags, I think they were $1.09, had 60¢, got 4.

I think the .75 ones tripled even though the product was only $1.99.

Just got back from a great trip with triples- 81% savings even with a few items that I had no coupons for and the 3 q's that I don't see on my receipt. Hopefully I have them and can get my money back at CS. My store gave overage on only 1 item (cutrite wax paper) and the registers self adjusted every other coupon. Still great though- I love triples!!

Sucess rice small box of boil in bag- free w/50q
kotex panty liners- free w/75q
2 ortega chili seasonings- free w/75q

Also, it LOOKS like they let me use a bogo AND a 75q on 2 lindt excellence bars. These are 2.79 each and, if the unidentified q on my receipt is actually for this item, that would be 2 bars for .54 which is a great deal- if that is what the q is from. With so many on my receipt it is hard to tell! Anyone else try this yet? LMK!

Here is something I found tonight in Waldbaums.

Pop Tart 12 ct box is on sale 2/$5. I used the $.55/1 coupon tripled making them $.85/box. They are running a deal that when you buy two boxes to get a free container of America's Choice milk up to $2. The half gallon of 2% was $1.79 AND I got a catalina for $.50 off a gallon of milk.

Not too bad considering my toddler has a Pop Tart pack (two pieces) every morning.

I was upset I was not going to get back to Shoprite where they are 3/$5 but I can only buy 3 at a time there, they double the coupon and they are the smaller boxes.
