    QUESTION Trader Joes ~ Tofurky?

I was wondering if regular Trader Joe's shoppers can help me. The nearest one is 1/2 hour+ from me.

TJ's is supposed to carry Tofurky roasts but DH couldn't find them last year. If you go by the frozen section, would you mind looking for a Tofurky box?

    Thank you!

Are you sure they're frozen? I've never bought a Tofurky... but most of their soy based meats are in the refrigerated section next to the sandwich meat. At least where I live...

They're frozen, in a box - that's the roasts/meals. And they have frozen giblet gravy in the case - that's in a plastic tub. The slices (yummy!) are in the deli case.

at the TJ's store that I worked at we put the Tofurkys in the refrigerated section with the meatless deli slices --near the hummus and refridgerated salsas. The local Whole Foods here also carries them in the refridgerated section- though you can freeze them at home. I believe last year they retailed around 8$ or so.

You should look up your closest store's contact info (Welcome to Trader Joe's - Your Neighborhood Grocery Store) and call them and they will be happy to set one aside for you. They come in every morning and in our area they ran out fast. If I was driving far I would def call and reserve one so you don't waste a trip.

Odd that they'd keep them in the fridge - the health food and Whole Foods I've bought them from in the last 10-12 years are all frozen. Thanks! I'll call and reserve. I'm not a TJ's shopper but it makes sense they'd be that customer friendly.
