Whole Foods - $5/$25 coupon 10/15-10/22/08

Beginning on 10/15/08 you can go to www.wholefoodsmarket.com and there will be a link to a $5/$25 coupon. The couopn will be good from 10/15-10/22/08. Limit is one coupon per person, per day and you must print it from the website-they will not have any available in store. You can use it at any Whole Foods store in the USA. It can be combined with manufacturer's coupons but not with Team Member discounts or other regional discounts/coupons. The surprising thing is you can use the coupon to purchase a gift card! Yes, you read that right...we received an email at work asking us to spread the word about the offer and it says in the email it can be used on gift cards

I have never been in our Whole Foods store...what type of gift cards are available? Thanks for the information...this will make me visit the store...and hopefully use as a competitors coupon

Preset amounts available are $10, $25, $50 and $100. Then there is another where you can determine the amount but I don't remember what the maximum is.

So let me get this straight. You can buy a $25 gift card and have the $5 applied to it?

That's what the email said (it was a Q&A sent out to employees). There are no fees for gift cards.
