I didn't think I was going to drag DH and 3 kids over 30 miles to the mall... but I'm another who is VERY glad I did. I got over 60 items, for $65.xx. Shirts/shorts for DH, uncle and my dad, and I got a TON of shirts for me and my mom. I also got a pair of shorts, two skirts and a skort. I'm SOOOO excited. I'm even considering going back tonight or tomorrow because they were STILL bringing stuff out.

This was a great sale for me! I work across the street from our mall, and was able to go on my lunch today. I found a ton of stuff for my baby, and also stocked up for baby showers (everyone I know is pregnant!). I got adorable outfits for 99 cents! Great deal! Thanks for the heads up!

I went today and there wasn't much at my store. I don't know if I missed all the good stuff( I went about 2ish) but there was only mens and womens clothing at 99 cents. The kids stuff was still marked at $3.99 and above. :frown:

Wow! I scored!! The Sears store by my house was marking everything down at the register that was $5.99 and below to .99. They just overrode the price at the register. Plus the greatest of all was that the store is in New Hampshire - TAX FREE!! Yea!!

I have no clue what the mall near here is doing. I would have to drive out of the way for them to not be clearancing. Anyone live near Fredericksburg or Richmond, VA? :)

Went to the Sears in downtown Chicago. Didn't look at men's or kids, but just one small rack of womens clothing on clearance.

I went to sears yesterday and got $2,115.90 for $292.00. My Family is set for next spring. It was worth the trip for me.

I scored big at Sears yesterday afternoon, too (Lexington, KY- at the mall, about 3 pm)!! I did notice there were a lot more smaller sized things than larger (i.e. small and medium in men's and 16/18 in women's plus), but I found some nice stuff by searching every clearance rack I saw.

For those having trouble finding the racks, make sure to look all around, not just the edges or the normal clearance areas. Example: in the men's department at my store, there were some racks near the entrance, but others were back into the section further and more scattered.

And before you rule out any items that you REALLY want, have them price-checked. There was a beautiful top I kept eyeing but it's sale price was $18.99, so I figured it'd still be more than I wanted to pay. But curiousity finally got the best of me (LOL) and I asked the cashier to check the price for me... it rang up at $0.99 (she even showed me the screen, cuz I didn't believe her at first)!!! I was still puzzled, but she smiled and said, "hey, don't question the computer!" and I said, "oh trust me-- I'm not!" as I grinned and tossed it into the shopping bag of treasures I was collecting! LOL I had 3 or 4 other items that rang up at $0.99 that I expected to be $1.99 or $2.99, as well as 2 or 3 that rang up too high that the cashier wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been watching closely.

I'm thinking of stopping at the smaller Sears in Frankfort today, just to see if they have anything I might have missed yesterday... but I'm almost afraid to do it, cuz I don't want to ruin my awesome shopping trip with a possibly disappointing one today-- sad, huh?!

Congrats on everyone's great deals, and good luck to those who are still planning to go (or go back)!!
