It's also posted in the kmart forum that sears grand and sears essentials are doubling coupons up to 1$ oct 14 to 20th, this will make a nice combo trip!

I was wondering if the sears essentials would be included with the clearance sale. Anyone have any idea?

I just confirmed with a store in Seattle WA. The sale starts tomorrow (wed 10-15) at 10:00 am.
Every thing that was;
3.99 will be .99
5.99 will be 1.99
7.99 will be 2.99
9.99 will be 3.99

It includes mens, womens, and childrens items on clearance. I didnt ask about housewares or linens. but I will be there at 10 am waiting for the doors to open!!

I just called the closest sears grand to my house and they said they are participating, but it is the 16th, tomorrow and not the 15th.

I just called the corp. # listed online, told them there online ad is confusing, he said yeah, they are swamped with calls on it because it doesn't show a starting date. It starts Thursday morning, 10/16. It is for summer clearance items with exclusions and there is a long list of exclusions.

Hmmm. . . long list of exclusions uh-oh - I think I'll pass on this one since the nearest Sears is 30 miles away. Can't wait to hear what everyone else gets though.

Is anyone else having issues accessing the Sears website? I have been trying for the past 2 hours w/no luck. I want to use the store locater to see if my sister has any stores in her area. TIA for any help.
