Other Drug Store ~ Question: SNYDERS DRUG store

Snyders Drug - Home

Anybody shop there? I come across their ad every now and then and don't really see anything worth making the trip, but maybe some of you have found deals there.
Is this drug store only in the Twin Cities???
My Mom got a flyer with coupons from them, she lives in Stillwater. I haven't been able to take a look at it yet....maybe it expires today anyhow.

I do know that currently they offer a $20 gift certificate for new or transferred prescriptions.

Now that I've looked at the link I posted, the stores are located in
Iowa
Illinois
Michigan
Minnesota
Montana.

I guess they decided to skip Wisconsin and North Dakota!


And the coupon booklet my Mom received is actually their weekly ad that is available on the website.

There is a Snyders by the new Rainbow on Lex and Larpenteur at the little strip mall at the end furthest from Rainbow, There is also one in Shoreview in the strip mall on Lexington and 96 and another one in New Brighton but I'm not sure of the address sometimes they have good deals but they are not very consistent sending out the adverts

I have one up the road, but don't shop there often. They seem very expensive.

I did find Milk bone Dog biscuits on clearance for $2.50 a box - $1 coupon = $1.50

Just heard tonight that our Snyder's in Faribault, MN is closing tomorrow at 6 PM. They were not on the closing list and everything seemed fine. The rumor going around town is that they were bought out by Walgreen's and just found out about the closing today!

Anyone else hear about sudden Snyder's closings (not the scheduled ones)?

There is a Snyder's in Breckenridge MN - about the only thing I've seen is that they carry LOL Milk for $2.99/gal all the time. If I'm going to Wahpeton to shop or to visit our son, I can merit the mile or so on over there to pick up the cheaper milk - otherwise, I don't bother.
