You could open up a credit card with them and get a percentage off the purchase (I think it's usually 10% but not sure).
Also the day after Thanksgiving will probably have fantastic deals on TVs if you decide you can wait that long.
My DH and I are planning to purchase a large (probably 46inch or larger) LCD TV sometime between now and Dec. We are building a house that won't be ready until Dec/ Jan so we just want to have it by then. We also are going to need appliances but hadn't decided if we could buy them at Best Buy or Lowes. Anyway, can you tell me how to get the best deal at best buy for the TV?

Don't forget Best Buy Price Matches also.......you could get the Lowes Price at Best buy and still get your reward points for them..............and then get your credit card discount too.....
We got our 65" LCD TV at TigerDirect.com - Computers, Computer Parts, Computer Accessories, PC Components, & Electronics It was actually hundreds of dollars cheaper through this site plus it has free shipping and no tax - can't beat that!

Currently in the process of moving and.
I won't be around much.
they also have promos of 18 mos no intreset wyb with their cc. We did that for our last tv. and if there is a best buy warehouse near you you can buy from them through ebay and get a steal. not sure the specifics on that, but a friend of mine in Tx did it that way.

Many thanks & much gratitude to the American military families
Veterans Day & every other day!
You can also just plain old negotiate. Best Buy will haggle with you if you're up for it. You can try out different Best Buys and different managers to get the best price, too.
Sign up the best buy rewards program, which is free, call CS and ask for any current promotion type coupons. Sometimes they send them out for 10-12% off your purchase price. Watch the sales from now until early October for them to move out older models. They are also doing a lot of package deals where you end up getting a great bargin for your money spent. Thanksgiving sales are luck of the draw and you usually have to wait hours, even days to get those great sales. You couldn't pay me to shop Best Buy during the christmas season. :hectic1:
The best buy price match is probably your best bet along with registering a credit card and taking an extra 10%. I have seen people get savings from one time sales that pale in comparrison to a simple 2-3% more from a best buy exclusive..

My husband works for BBY and we just purchased a 42" LG, the wall mount, and a 4 yr service plan for $1000. The wall mount was $199, with his discount it was $30. :hectic1:
