I shop at Sears when I have coupons.

Can you tell me about clearance schedule. I often see 50% off which is not good enough for me:) Sometimes 60% off.

Is there any pattern to when items are put on sale and what percentage off?

I'd really appreciate the information.

I also work at Sears. The clearance schedules are somewhat left up to the individual stores. At least the pricing. For example, when there is VOM (very old merchandise) that they need to get rid of, a store can mark the clearance down to pretty much whatever they want.

Typically, items get marked down every two to three weeks. When they have the extra percentage off clearance (my fave), usually it is only on women's and childrens because mens sells better. Even then, when they have it, it is typically for one week (starting mid-week usually) and then it goes off and will come back on again in one to two weeks depending on how the merchandise is selling.
