Ulta-7/6 CG & Olay deal

I recieved a catalog in the mail for Ulta's 'Biggest Haircare event of the Year' and on the front is a coupon for $3.50 of a $10 purchase. On the back there is a deal where if you buy $12 of CoverGirl or Olay, you get a Free Lashblast Mascara. Okay, so I have 2 of the 'Free Eye Enhancer WYB Lash Blast' Q's, and want to work out a deal. This is what I came up with:

Buy 2 Lashblast @ 7.99=15.98
Buy 2 Eye Enhancer Trios @ 5.19=10.38
Total=26.36

-3.50 Ulta Q
-7.99 Automatic gwp Lash Blast wyb $12 CG
-5.19 MFQ Eye Enhancer WYB Lash Blast Mascara
-5.19 MFQ Eye Enhancer wYB Lash Blast Mascara

Total=4.49+tax for 2 lash blasts, and 2 eye enhancers

Does this look right, and will the Manu Q's work on a free item like they do at CVS?

*phew* I love Lash Blast Mascara (even more than Diorshow!!) and wanted to pick this up for my sister and I....and this seems like a better deal than the current CVS 7/6 deal....

I would love to know more baout Ulta as well. They just opened one up near me and the deals look great. Do they take coupons the same as CVS and if we use coupons do we still get the free gift offers? Anyone shop there?

I've used their 3.50/10.00 with no problems in the past. I'm not sure about combining coupons and getting the special offers. sorry still a newbie but in the past I've walked in their store used a coupon for a free opi nail polish and walked out and they were very nice about that. In my book Ulta is great with coupons.

I have not tried the bogo coupon with a bogo sale there, I have mixed there coupons (once every couple months they send out a flyer full of them!) with man. coupons and sales with no issue! i will say they are (at my store) kinda tough about using those 3.50/10.00 with a bunch of other coupons, you have to use theres last.. so using it you get under 6.50. they also have a great reward system!
