Expired Q's Printed in Food Section of Paper

I am just starting to see Q's printed in the body of our newspaper (Milwaukee Journal). Today in the Food section I found Q's for:

Welch's frozen concentrates, $1.00/5 exp 5/31/09
Stouffer OR Lean Cuisine Entrees $1.00/4 exp 4/30/09
Pepperidge Farm frozen bread, any $1.00/1 exp5/28/09

Has anyone else noticed this in their papers? Is this common is other regions?

Hello from another J/S reader!

I wanted to thank you for posting this. I totally missed them in the Entree section. (And I actually thought I "read" that section today )

I'm thinking these coupons are to promote the "March is frozen food month". (You probably noticed the huge color ad on the same page.)Someone else posted about it on another thread. That person mentioned to watch for a coupon booklet, but I didn't see one.

If you've been noticing more coupons in the body of the J/S, I'm going to start looking more carefully.

Now that takes me back to the days before inserts, when all coupons were printed in the paper. You sometimes had to play hide and seek throughout the whole paper to make sure that you found them all. Or copy the recipe you wanted (by hand) because there was a coupon on the other side. Yes, dinosaurs were still roaming the earth at that time as well!
