Re: When does ON have their additional %50 off clearance? I was at a different ON tonight... they finally had some of the foldover skirts that I was looking for in different colors & sizes - although I was hard pressed to find my size... they had mostly larges left. They were 14.50 regular price - but i really need them for work and can't wait for them go on sale later in the season.
I got:
(3) Foldover skirts at 14.50 each (one XS, one S, one M)
(3) Baby Cardigans for $0.97 each
(2) 3/4 Sleeve Shirts for $1.99 each (look like leftovers from the winter season which is why they were cheap)
Which brought me over the $50 limit - and I used the $10/$50 that I got = totaled to just over $40. I noticed when I got home that because one of the foldover skirts didn't ring up at all in the system, the cashier put it through as merchandise... well b/c of that it charged me $0.97 in tax... when my area has no sale tax on clothing. DH said that he would take it to the ON near his work and see what he could do about it. I hope DH can get me my $0.97 back... It was legitimate clothing! And I pay enough taxes here in the city.
Also the cashier forgot to scan one of my skirts - and was going to give it to me for free, but since I calculate all my totals - I knew something was wrong and told her that she forgot to scan one somehow. I would have felt bad walking out with an item and not paying for it even if it was the cashier's fault.
Items were still 50% off original prices, some were still 25% off. Making a lot of shirts 6.99 to 7.99 range... even kids clothing was in that range 4.99-7.99. But there were some items that were last season's line and they were marked down more than 50%. |
