    Default Too much salt!

I am not very tolerant to salt. We didn't use it growing up and to this day, for the most part, I don't use it very often. Tonight for dinner I made a pizza. I put pepperoni on it which is something I don't normally do. Bad Move!

I have had nonstop thirst since I stopped eating and have had 4 large glasses of water! My stomach actually aches it is so full of water but I still can't quench my thirst/get that salty feeling to go away. I feel like I am going to burst-- I can actually feel water sloshing around in my tummy!

Does anyone have any home remedies for the unquenchable thirst/bloated feeling that you get when you have too much?

I love salt! The more the better! Well, to a point. LOL

Can you eat a mint, or chew some gum?

Cool! Another person who doesn't do salt
My cure for salt over load is to drink a half frozen Mug root beer. It's prolly a mental fix. :Poke: Water just doesn't help.

I tried chewing gum, but that didn't seem to help. I actually drank a glass of milk and that seemed to help a little bit. Next time I will try the rootbeer. I LOVE rootbeer!!

I love Birch Beer too. A lot of places where I grew up actually had it on tap. SO GOOOD.

You would be my son's best friend. That boy loves everything rootbeer. He even named his cat Rootbeer.

To the salt issue. I don't do salt either. Never had it growing up so I don't want it now.
