I take a benadryl every night to help me sleep - otherwise, all my worries would keep me awake. I get 6-7 hours of sleep a night, and sometimes a catnap during the day. That really helps me.

Those B vitamins really help - try a 5 hour energy! Just not at 10 pm.

What is it about the Vitamin B that helps?

Is there a downside to taking a vitamin B?

This is going to sound pretty silly and counter-intuitive, but it worked for me- and that's exercising regularly. I exercise when I get home from work and tell myself I'm not tired and I can at least do a 20 minute workout- and most times I end up doing a 40min workout before relaxing.

It took about 3 weeks to kick in when I was first working out at 3x a week. I really was tired before and would come home and just plop on the couch and be dead to the world. I know exercising has really helped me have energy the rest of the day.

I'd also suggest a multi, just to be sure your body is getting the nutrients it needs. That'll probably help a lot, too.

    *big hugs!*

Did she check you for everything possible? For me there were so many things that were bogging me down. I could be sitting on the couch and I would just fall asleep and i would sleep 8 hrs a night.
But i ended up finding out I had many problems.
    1. Vitamin D was WAY WAY WAY LOW
    2. I have hyperthyroidism/graves disease (an autoimmune disorder)
    3. I have Celiac Disease, can't have wheat (another autoimmune disorder)

Not having enough vitamin d, my thyroid being out of wack and eating wheat when i shouldnt have were taking a big toll on my body. Now i take vit d, have thyroid meds and eat mostly unproccesed foods and NO WHEAT and i feel so much better! I don't even have to sleep 8 hrs anymore to feel good.

I really hope they find out whats wrong with you, feeling tired and not know why really stinks. Being tired all the time can be a symptom of so many problems.... or it can just be something simple.
