Interesting. I didn't know there was a connection with hypothyroid.

I am better today. I think resting yesterday helped. Still bothersome but not as bad.

I've had hip problems since having my boys. One thing that helps me for both my hips and my back is when I sleep to sleep with an extra pillow. If on my back its under my knees and if on my side it's between my knees. It helps keep you aligned while sleeping. This was actually recommended to DH when he had back surgury and I tried it as well and it has helped me tremendously!

Thanks for all the comments. Pain is back today. Wish I could rest but that won't be possible today.

Yep, joint/bone/muscle pain can be due to low thyroid.

Still in pain:( Went to the doctor. She thinks it is sciatica and is treating it as such. If that doesn't work then she will look at it being pain from the sacroiliac joints. My hip movement is good, so most likely it is from the nerve being pressed or inflamed.

My chiro recommended a SI Belt. Wow, the difference wearing it makes. I recommend trying one if you have pain like I described.
