what is wrong?

It seems like my body is taking me through so many things. I started out at not having anything majorly wrong with me 2 years ago, other than the dr's thinking I have anxiety/depression/panic.

Now i have so many things wrong. 2 autoimmune dissorders among many other things and now im sick again. Just had to do to the dr today and they put me on an inhaler, steroids and antibiotics because im wheezing, coughing and have swollen nodes and lumps in my neck.

Im just wondering if all these small things are pointing to something bigger.?

What have they diagnosed me with?
Anxiety/depression/panic attacks
Ovarian cysts
FLD
High Choleserol
Swollen/bruised knee
Tendonities/tennis elbow
Celiac
Throid autoimmune dissorder (not sure which one yet) MANY SYMPTOMS
Goiter and nodule on thyroid (not too big for concern yet)
had to have my tonsils removed in feb due to many infections
trouble breathing-had 1 dr say asthma another possibly ulcer or bacterial infection

I just don't know how much more my body can take....

For your lungs I would suggest a bronch and a high resolution CT scan to see what is actually wrong with them. Xray's don't really tell them, and blood work and swabs do not tell them what is wrong with the lungs.

My thinking is with the autoimmune the HRCT will tell them if your lungs need to have further looking into (a biopsy) or not.

Have they done any biopsies of anything? Thyroid? IN the end...that is often how they can diagnosis a lot of major diagnosis. My first thought is possibly lupus...but I"m not remotely an expert on lupus...but "some" of the symptoms fit.

For your lungs I would suggest a bronch and a high resolution CT scan to see what is actually wrong with them. Xray's don't really tell them, and blood work and swabs do not tell them what is wrong with the lungs.

My thinking is with the autoimmune the HRCT will tell them if your lungs need to have further looking into (a biopsy) or not.

None of my dr's have even recomended this. or any other test. It was in the er and they did a xray of my belly and said everything was fine and told me to get an endoscopy for possible ulcer....but i had one about 1 1/2yrs ago, and they said my stomach and everything looked perfect, so how in the heck could i develope an ulcer in that short amount of time?

I have had no biopsies on anything in my body, I feel as if ive been bounced around from dr, to dr, to dr. It all started with tingling in my arms and legs with a sensativity to cold which landed me at a neurologist, he than recomended some blood tests which led to thyroid dr. Ive had bo biopsy on my nodule because they don't feel its be enough yet. it is growing at a rate of about 1mm every six months.

FLD Is fatty liver disease. A while a go they found a mass on my liver and found that it was a fatty mass growing on the outside of my liver.

I am just so frustrated....they just keep telling me everything is fine and i don't feel fine.

I also had a weird thing happen to me about 6 months ago. I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible cramp in my leg. I got up to go downstairs and try to walk it off. I made it down the stairs and to the livingroom before collapsing on the floor. I managed to get up and make it to the bathroom where I again fell to the floor.

At this point i thought my heart was going to stop. It felt like someone was sqeezing my heart and lungs it was so bad I almost passed out. My husband came downstairs to find my on the bathroom floor. By this time I was able to talk.....i really should have gone to the ER. but i didn't They did heart tests and everything turned out fine. Thank the Lord above it has not happened again.

You need to see a pulmonologist.

An ulcer is caused by the H pylori bacterium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helicobacter_pylor They would do a scope of your esophogus and stomach to find it. You would need to see a Gastroenterologist to get this diagnosed. It literally can happen in a few weeks...it is something you "catch".

So is this an Endocrinologist that your seeing? It sounds like you haven't had the biopsy? Is that correct?? I would seek a second opinion.

Ahh! My sisters both have Fatty liver Disease..they also don't drink..so it's both kind of strange for them to have it too. One of my sister's also has an Autoimmune disorder, she has fibromalgia.

What I would do is Lungs and Thyroid are the most important...I would focus on those first.....very most important though is Thyroid!!!! That can affect everything!

I do see an endocrinologist for my thyroid problem. They have not done a biopsy. It is only 6mm right now. and untill it reaches 1cm they don't feel as if it is a threat, but it is growing.

I was going to start my meds today but I am having problems with my insurance. They want me to take a round of antibiotics and steroids and use an inhaler to see if things get better. if not i have to go back and look into problems further.

they used think erosion caused ulcers...it was a hunch that brought about the discovery of the bacteria. They treat it with an antibiotic, flagyl and a PPI like prevacid. the FLD can improve if your thyroid levels get improved. My sister (the one with the FLD and she also has thyroid issues) says to ask for your testosterone level to be checked...and the goiter can cause breathing issues as well..but that as long as they are not treating your thyroid issues it's hard to know what is actually an issue because a lot of the stuff can be blamed on the thyroid..in other words..get a second opinion.

Just so you know... A lot of the symptoms you describe can relate to thyroid. For instance, anxiety, panic attacks, muscle cramps and rapid hearbeat. Get your thyroid under control and these things might go away.
