Missed Period after tubal

Hi
I have a qeustion for any of you who have had a tubal.
I had mine done on August 15th 2011 and bled for about 2 weeks afterwards. Not heavy like a reg. period. I have always had a consistent period because I had been on birth contral.

Saturday I should have gotten my period and have not. I was wondering if it is very common to miss your period after a tubal because of the changes that had taken place from the surgery. Any input is greatly apprecieated.

No tubal experience here,
but you have recently made lots of changes to your diet and exercise program
resulting in some weight loss.
Might that have any affect??

Not too many changes. I don't eat as many fattening/processed things. And i excersize almost every night, but thats about it.

Excercise in and of it self that you just started will do that.

I had one after my twins...and yes it will mess with your "regular" period date..mine never falls on the same time each month now. It is sometimes 3 weeks from the last day of the last one and sometimes its 6 weeks later from the last day of the last one. LOL I dont mine the 6 weeks but I hate the 3 weeks...then sometimes its is 4 weeks...I never know..until I get that feeling!

Hate to ask but could you be pregnant? I had a friend who got pregnant despite the surgery. There was an egg in the tube or something like that.

boy, i certainly hope not. I will just wait it out a few weeks and see what happens. Im not having any prego symptoms and am not having any abdominal pain other than the overian cysts i have. i know that feeling.

I had my last baby Nov 30,1996 and had the shot and bleed till Feb 1997. Went in and had my tubes tied and skipped one month. But I also had to go in and have them untied about three years later due to not being able to handle what the clamp was made out of. that they tie your tubes with
