? anything besides discount card for diabetic test strips

I am trying to help out a friend. All I can find is diabetic test strips discount savings card. Is there such a thing as patient assistance on diabetic test strips OR any type of freebie - sampling programs. The family really cant even afford the $15 discount programs at this time so I was hoping someone might know a different route of savings.

The type of meter they are willing to change - so it really dont matter which brand of test strips they can find savings on.

Believe it or not, you can get strips on eBay for a discount. You might check there and see what they are selling for (and check the seller rating and that the strips are not expired!) first.

Also, you might call the strip manufacturer and see if they have a discount/free program. That can't hurt.
