Sounds like ezcema to me.
I have these red bumps on my forearms that sort of look like pimples but they aren't and they hurt. I know that it can't be fleas or bed bugs because DH doesn't have any. I have had shingles before but they are not in the usual "clump" of shingles, they are more spread out from each other. I thought maybe they were ingrown hairs at first and pulled all the hairs out of them because I think thats what helps ingrown hairs?? lol but that didn't work so I don't know what it is. I've tried to google it but there are so many different things red bumps could be, I just thought I would check here to see if anyone has ever experienced this before... I'm probably going to the doctor in the next couple weeks because I've already had them for about a month, I was just hoping that they would go away.
Any opinions/advice would be great!
Thanks![]()

My son and I both suffer from it. We both use the cream. I may have to change our loads of laundry to another brand since DH can only use Tide but it's not working for me and DS.

If you have had staph infections it could be this as well, some carry staph and my grandmother had pimple like bumps, she carries staph so that was the 1st thing the dr checked them(the bumps) for.

i got this a few months back only a reaction to some laundry stuff... it was called contact dermatitis, however, it came and went( i igured out what it was that day, luckily i only touched wet washed laundry of my kids') within a week or two for it all to disappear. A month seems a long time for that sort of thing.

I had this once. The Dr. said it was some sort of infection of the hair follicles. I can't remember exactly the name that he called it or what he prescribed. I didn't think it was this because I looked up the name he gave me and the pics didn't look like that. The cream also didn't seem to work but after several weeks it finally went away.
It sounds to me like bed bugs so you may want to do another check :(
Thanks everyone for your input! My cousin said that he gets these sometimes when he's really stressed, so I'm hoping thats all that it is... I'm not sure if I carry staph or not, I've never been tested for that or anything, and I think its definitely not bed bugs because hubby doesn't have any bumps like this and he definitely would if we had them... I guess I'll have to go to the doctor, I hate paying that copay lol.

I agree not beg bugs, those bites are in a pattern they refer to as "breakfast lunch dinner" they are in a series of lines.
Truly sounds just like the contact dermatitis, try hydrocortizone cream. If it was furuncosis or foliculosis, the bumps would have discomfort and you would be able to see what appears to be a "head".
I by no means am a medical professional, but have had my bouts with bumps! lol! During the summer time am usually covered in them thanks to the lovely grass allergy. also, able to rule out the bed bugs thing because i read an article on them when NYC was on the news all the time about their infestation.
hope you get relief soon!
good luck!
