Late period...but not pregnant???

I have no clue what is going on with my body. My period is late. I honestly never keep track of my cycles so I do not know how many days are usual for my cycle but I do know my period should have came by now.

My last period was May 7th. I always start sometime in the first week of the month. I have never ever missed a period.

I did take a pregnancy test which was negative and my DH had a vasectomy so its very unlikely that I could be pregnant although my body is just acting weird. Last night during sex I bled a tiny bit and then it stopped. It also hurt during sex which never happens (sorry TMI!!)

Before my period I always have sore boobs and break out. I have not had either this month. I do have a canker sore though which is weird.

With my two previous pregnancies I did get pregnant while on birth control and I did not have many symptoms at first other than a missed period.

I am starting to worry...I guess if my period doesn't come in the next few days I will call my Dr.

Any stress lately? That's one thing that can throw a period off.

I missed my period for 3 months straight. My tubes are tied and I was not pregnant. This has happened before. I have a cyst on my ovary. I also sometimes have pain during sex and Doc says it is caused by cyst plus some scar tissue I have from problem during delivery. Anyway you might check with doc about cysts.
My doc says he can not say 100 % what causes it but he gave cyst , stress, hormonal changes (I'm 36) as some possible reasons.
Sometimes I don't think docs know as much about what can go on in a woman's body as they should.
