Ugh Sinus Headache

It hurts super bad! Ive been taking excedrin migraine. I took the sinex last night it didnt help to much :(. Hurts worse today like right inbetween my eyes above my nose! Hurts worse to bed over :( Thinkin ill have to make a dr appointment tomorow morning. I really hate to drive on base but this hurts soooo much!!!

HAha. I try to not bend over! Impossible to do when i pick up after 2 lil ones! House is prety much clean now! I just hate my head hurting! :(

Take something with Pseudoephedrine in it - its the decongestant that you have to sign for @ the pharmacy counter- and take Guaifenesin; the ingredient of Mucinex.(I dont buy Mucinex - I just use the Robitussin expectorant kind )
Even if you dont have chest congestion, it will thin out sinus stuff so you can blow your nose. Drink lots of fluids. I had a killer sinus headache yesterday - hope you feel better soon.

i beleive i have the sudafed with that in it in my medicine cabinet! Ive been taking excedrin for the headache , the sinex didnt seem to do much. today i feel alright currently. But still will prob take the sudafed and stuff,

start using a neti pot...daily if not twice a day ...every day if you can it will help keep your sinus' clear of the things that cause the reaction to allergies etc.

I think I need to invest in a neti pot. I do not have one of those. I have allergies. What im allergic to i do not know! But this is getting annoying. felt find waking up so didnt make an appt, this evening the head pain is back. I found my sudafed though and took it. Not fun when im trying to do classwork that involves me staring at the computer screen!
I was always afraid of those neti pot things . Not sure why. Afraid i might choke or something! HAHA.

I have the sudafed that i got behind the counter at pharmacy :) yay. SO i took that and i have the robitussin with the guaifenesin in it. SO lets see how these work!

Keep a humidifier running day and night - it will help thin out the mucus so it can run out easier. And drink lots of water - that will help do the same. I get really bad sinus headaches also, but haven't found the magic cure yet!

I don't have a netti pot, so here's what I do. I run really hot water in the bathroom sink. I don't put the stopper in...just let it run until there's a ton of steam coming from it. Then, I take a big bath towel, and put it over my shoulders...lean over the sink (yes...I know you don't want to bend over), and move the towel so that it covers my head and shoulders and forms a tent over the sink with the hot running water. Then...I breathe deeply...in through the nose, and out through the mouth. The steam breaks up the congestion in your sinuses and even in your chest if you have it there. I do this when I have a bad chest cough, a sinus headache, or just a really bad cold. It works! Oh...and it's great for your pores!
