Hi, I have had some of those tests and almost all of your symptoms. Started a few years ago. Been to many docs. I also have hyperthyroid. They found this out while testing me. It was a borderline case but I felt a little better after the tapazole. I also have low B12. I get shots for that now. My vit D is also very low so taking that everyday but its still not normal. I would get those things checked as well. I still have some of my symptoms and it drives me crazy but beginning to think its a combo of the thyroid B12 and D causing it. I just pray everyday It will improve

My cortisol came back low one time so they tested me for addisons disease with acth test with dexamethasone and blood draw the next day. Thankfully it was ok.

They should do a dexamethasone suppression test for high cortisol . You will have to take the med and come back in the am to check your cortisol. If the med lowers it then thats a good sign you do not have cushings. I have been told high cortisol can come from stress so I am hoping thats the case for you.

    Any update?

I ask because I've been dealing with some issues lately that with my internet searches has pointed me towards Cushing's. I've gained about 40 pounds, all in my midsection, within the last 6 months (no changes in lifestyle, eating habits); have increasing problems with facial hair (have to pluck numerous chin hairs DAILY, if not twice a day), I'm constantly exhausted; I sweat like I'm in a sauna even though I don't feel hot; if I hydrate like I NEED to, I'll be searching out restrooms all day; blood pressure has been going through the roof...gosh, I could go on forever.

I went to have my annual female exam last week, and blood work shows high testosterone. I have to go back to my doctor to discuss next week, and my hematologist told me to go to an endocrinologist ASAP. Anybody have Cushing's or know someone who does?

No no update really yet. Still don't know whats going on.
This time around all my blood tests showed my hormones within normal limits??
Still have everything else going on. Found out my vitamin D2 levels are almost non existent so I was put on a pill for that.
plan on seeing my endo in october again. Was supposed to see her in august but for some reason my oppointment wasnt in the system.
And between my schedule and theirs i can't make it till late october.

Ive been feeling a lot of pressure in my thryoid area, like someone is sticking a finger in my neck, as well as it feels swollen even though its not, on the outside anyway.
