Hi everyone, just wanted to give you and update on my surgery. Everything went well, I am home recovering (by being on HCW lol) and I have a followup appointment today with my dr. Wow I thought this day would never come. I am a bit sore which is expected, but I am keeping my pain meds close by. I look like a new woman. Now its time to buy that pretty bra and panties set that I've never been able to wear. Thanks everyone for your thoughts and prayers....

Hi Dee glad you are home recovering. I was praying for you and wondering how it went. Thank you for taking the time to let us know. I am glad you are able to get that bra set you want. I bet you lost alot of weight, lol I know mine weight 20 lbs, not kidding.

Hi all, I'm still in the recovery stage. Its a lot harder then I expected. Getting comfortable and staying comfortable is tough. Just a soon as I get into a sorta ok spot, the pain comes back. The pain usually happens when I move around a lot. My vicodin is suppose to help with the pain and help me sleep, but let me tell you I've seen just about every hour of every day since the surgery. I have to go back to the dr on Tuesday to get my tube taken out, so I'm gonna ask him to give me something to help me sleep.

Its officially been a week and 3 days since my surgery. I am not in pain like I was a week ago, but I do have a few issues going on right now. I have lots of swelling and I some of my incisions are not healing properly. My doctor has recommended that I get 10 day of Hyberbaric Oxygen Chamber treatment. I had my first session on Friday in which I have to be in there for 2 hours w/o any interruptions. I'm praying that this treatment works or else I will have to go back in for surgery. For those that aren't familiar with Hyberbaric Oxygen Treatment, its where they place you inside this chamber for 2 hours and you breath in high power oxygen (feels like you are on an airplane that keeps going up and down). It is suppose to speed up the healing process so that my wound will heal faster w/o dying off.

Has anyone ever had to do this for any type of wound care. TIA..
