the yuckies

the past 3 days my kids have had the stomache bug. all they do is puke.:hectic1: the first day Emilee had it she was fine all day then out of the blue. Then yesterday she went to school. She felt fine as she told me. I told her ok but if she had gotten sick that she was going to be sent home. She went through the whole day no puking. Even ate lunch! well...... we get to the car to go home from school and she just pukes all over herself in the backseat. I rushed home which was only a few blocks away fromt he school thank god. Rushed her inside and told DH emilee and her clothing needs washed asap. so i went out and cleaned up whatever she had for lunch peaches and hamburger??? yuck. Then today storm was up at 4am and says mommie you in there? I said yes why. she hops into DH's side of the bed and just pukes all over. All I thought to myself was why is this happeneing. she cleaned Stormy Up and put the sheets in the wash. and me and DD3 stayed downstairs. she finally fell asleep at 9am and slept till noon. she woke up and tells me mom those yuckies are really yuck. sigh.. im just hoping this all ends before sunday when stormys' birthday party is. :sad::hectic1: im really tired. 4 hrs of sleep in the past 2 days ive never did so much laundry in my life in 2 days.

Oh..you poor thing. My kids are all grown, but I use to hate when they got sick...still do. But the pukes have to be the worse. It always made me halfway sick when I would have to clean up the messes....I mean, I would always have a face which looked like I was going to puke next... and I would usually hold my breath, so I wouldn't. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE....maybe it is just a 24 hr. bug and everyone is better now that everyone has had their turn....hope you have a good day and try to recooperate.

I know it sucks when your kids are sick...but be thankful you don't have the "yucks" too. Like PP said hopefully it is a 24 hr. deal and they'll be back to new before long:)
