The BEST website if you need help getting a script filled but can't afford it!

This was a lifesaver (SERIOUSLY, you have no idea how great this news was for me) for my DH and I.............. and I just feel I should pass it on.
I'm NOT a nice person without with my meds
Anyways, between DH and my script it would have cost $3XX.XX per month and with my DH on unemployment........ya, that just wasn't going to happen.........and of course no medical insurance......heck, I don't even know what that is anymore..........haven't had insurance in over 5 years now.
Some of these assistance programs through the pill companies have shockingly high income guidelines......like 300% of poverty level (I was playing around and found I would have to make $55000 for a family of 3!!!!!!!).......and don't worry if you have no clue where are you in regards to the poverty level because there is a calculator that will tell you!

For my script the requirement was 200% of poverty level----I was EASILY APPROVED and FAST too. My script is in the mail already! They will mail me 90 day supply RIGHT TO MY HOUSE WITH ZERO COPAY! And they put me on auto refill! DH's script will get mailed to the doctors office. Anyways........I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the link! My DH goes through Glaxo-Smith Cline (however it's spelled) to get his Advair. We found out about the program through the clinic he goes to, but it's amazing what kind of programs the drug manufacturers themselves have for low-income families. Definitely worth checking into, too. :)

I am a nurse practitioner and I am always referring the Needymeds website to patients and social workers that help patients, etc. Some drug companies have any easy process for med assistance others don't.
