That day, I was unusually hungry, nauseous, irritable with a headache and had the most wild, vivid dreams. I always felt much better the next day.
I found out why: Vita D is really a hormone!
Not really a vitamin per my Rheumatolgist and research.
That is why it has over 2,000 chemical reactions in the body, and has so many widespread effects.
That is also a reason to not take too much, and have toxic levels.
As with any overdose of a hormone,
it can also cause permanent damage if D3 levels are well over 100iu/dl.
Since it is bound to our fat cells, once toxic, it is hard to clear.
Short of drugs to take it out of the system, weight/fat loss is the only other way.
That is why those who lose a great deal of weight have low Vita D3 levels, and need to get their blood levels checked. |
