Default Should I go to the dr?

I am 3 months pregnant, and fell down a 1/2 flight of stairs last night, I must have slipped on the bottom of my pants and I just flew down on my butt.

Today I'm pretty sore, mostly my bottom. I haven't had any terrible pain in my tummy area...just a small cramp here or there. All of my coworkers seem to think I'll be okay and a few of them said that they fell down stairs when they were further along and everything was okay. But a few people seem very concerned.

Do you think I should go to the dr just to make sure everything is okay? I have my monthly checkup in about 10 days...would I be okay to wait til then and have him check to make sure all is well?

Thanks, this is my first pregnancy and I tend to overly worry about everything...

If it were me, I'd go in to make sure everything's ok, but I was a worrywart during my pregnancies too!!

Sorry to hear about your fall. I fell down the stairs and landed on my butt HARD. Hard enough to break my tailbone - I wasn't pregnant at the time, but it hurt to sit down for months!!!

I'd check with your doctor. Mine had me come in to get checked when I was around 10 weeks because I slipped in the bathtub and landed on my bottom.

I second what everyone else said I would call the Dr and let them know what happened and go from there. They may want you to come in they may not.

Better safe than sorry especially if you are feeling any cramps at all. I would def. call and make an appointment.

I fell down some stairs when I was just a couple months pregnant with twins. I felt fine after, no cramping, no bleeding. The next day, I was sore, still no cramping or bleeding. I didn't go to the doctor nor did I call them. I did tell them at my next appt, since I am going every 2 weeks, it was only a couple of days in between the fall and the appt. They just told me to be careful and watch for any cramping or bleeding. I am fine and was fine then. You can call them if you want, or just wait til your next appt to let them know that is if you are feeling fine with no pains or bleeding.
