Hiccups
Stand on one foot, face north, close your eyes, and drink a glass of water. Hiccups Gone!
I know this is ridiculous, I made it up when my kids were very young, and to my surprise it worked. Now my DD is 19 and she still swears by this remedy - even passed it along to a girl in her dorm & it worked for her too. LOL!
Try it - nothin' to lose by trying it :)

I forgot to mention (2 entries above this) that I actually stumbled across that site this morning. I just thought it would come in handy.

Tootache???

Mix a T of ground cloves with enough vanilla to make a paste. Add two drops of tea tree oil if you have it on hand.

Using a clean finger so as to know exactly where you are putting the paste, rub on tooth and gum. Instant numbing!!! Careful not to use to much or you will appear to have just came from the dentist. The tree oil will work on any infection that you may have that lead to the toothache.

I spend my "me time" researching herbs and how to use them. If you need a good home remedy, feel free to ask me. If I don't know right off-hand, I will find it for you. I have several lists of herbs from A-Z that shows what they are good for and how to prepare them. Have a question just ask!

Hint: best product to have on hand. Tea Tree Oil (can be found at Rite Aide). It can be use for everything from cuts and infections to sanitizing sufaces. The concentrate oils can be fatal if taken in large doses so be sure to put up away from children and dillute if used.

gassy stomach-ya know, when you feel bloated but can't seem to burp it out? lol well, take your index and midddle finger (touching) and do a clockwise circle around the navel, applying a bit of pressure. You'll get some much needed "beer belches" This even works on gassy infants.

Wow these are great ideas everyone. I will have to try them if I ever have these symptoms. Here is one I don't see mentioned. I swear by this as I have been doing it. It has to be LOCAL made honey or it won't work. Trust me I tried the store stuff and it didn't work. I have been fighting sinus problems for several YEARS until a few months ago when someone told me about the local honey. i tried drinking the regular store stuff and it did nothing. I found a store that carried local honey made in my town. It has to be local because of the pollen. It is sort of like getting a flu shot to make yourself get the small dose of the flu in you to be immune to it. I hate doing this but it is the only way I can get it to go straight to my system. Drink one tablespoon of local honey every morning. I down it by the bottle because I am the only one using it. It is cheap and I have only had 1 episode of sinus problems the last few months since doing this. Yes I am tired of eating honey every morning, lol but it is worth it to me not to be in pain. I asked the Dr. about it and she said local honey is awesome and it is only 3.59 for a 12 oz. bottle which is high I guess for couponers, lol but worth every penny to me. I am out of pain finally. Oh it has a huge bonus added too you might want to know about. It curbs hunger and helps you lose alot of weight. I have lost 36 lbs. now! I was a size 16 and now I am a size 12! I am 5'6 and blessed, lol and big-boned.I know on some people a 12 is huge but for me it is great. I have gotten alot of compliments lately. I want to lose some more but feel great. I lost my double chin after years of trying. Now I eat whatever I want and how much I want and the pounds are melting away with no starving. Try it and let me know if it works for you.

Do yall really want a good one if you are brave enough to try it?Go to dollar store and buy a (NEW)bag(It will be ok).of kitty litter. The clay in there(Orange and yellow bag)is fuller's earth clay.If I remember right.Try to crush up a cup of this.(Not in your kitchen machines)It will break them.Use a hammer and pillow case. Now put this in a jar and add just enough water to make a thick slurry(really thick).Bet ya'll don,t know where I,m going with this!Keep a lid on your jar when not in use.Ready to try now?Smear this on your face and let sit for 15 min.(Do not get a rock in your eye!Place wash cloth into bathroom sink ,so you don, tstop up your drain and rinse your face off with water.(This is used at the very expensive spa,s for the wealthy). You will not believe how good your face feels.Done this for years.True Beauty Treatment.
