    CHAT Lymphoma Survivors/Patients/Recurrence

Hi,I am a survivor(stage 3) of 13yrs almost 14.Currently I am waiting on results of tests...remember the wait?It is brutal! The wonderful drugs/treatments that saved my life have done there damage....We just discovered thyroid and heart damage both expected but still a blow
:frown:And the presence of a lump.

I am wondering what signs, symptoms you had & just looking for some support while I wait...Praying I do not have to wait all weekend for the preliminary report from the CAT!I can handle anything when I know it but not knowing is driving me crazy!

    Thanks!

    Step 1 ~ knowledge...and we wait!:hectic1:

my dad had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in his spine and only found out about it after he thought he had slipped his disk when he fell from his asphalt paving equipment he was given 6 months to live but after 2 years of Chemo he went into remission and has remain there ever since. (This was over 20 years ago) he has had heart problems had stints put in back in 2000 and had a mini-stroke like 2002-2003 but other then that he's "okay" although the surgery they did on his back left so much scar tissue that he ended up on disability since he can't stand for long periods of time.

I hope all goes well with you.
