I think mine may be hormone related as it began in earnest after my hysterectomy 2 yrs ago. My mom has suffered with fibro for years now, she says hers started out just like mine. a case of the sniffles can lay me low for a week.
I've been suffering from CFIDS for 10 years and was wondering if anyone else is too. I am looking to find some new treatments/support, now that it seems to be a "REAL" illness!
Sometimes I am just too wiped out to even do chores or GASP, go shopping. You know it has to be bad when I have missed triples the last 3 times.
Lmk if you are CFS or in a fibrofog.

I had a severe case of mono when I was 18 that almost killed me. It was never actually diagnosed but they ruled out everything else. After that I was a "changed" woman and they said it was CFS. Now I have other problems that compete with it, like RA so I don't know if the fatigue I feel comes from the CFS or the RA.
One of the things my doctor suggested was taking B12 supplements. You can actually get them in pill form as well as injection. The shots are in the hip/butt area and I thought they were relatively painless. Just bend over, drop your drawers, and the nurse gives the injection. Lemme tell you- WHAT A BOOST. It would start to kick in about half an hour after I got the injection. I would always plan to clean that evening and the next day when the energy was highest. You may want to look into something like that as it really helped me for a time!

The one time I did the shot the doc included steroids for my asthma. I couldn't write for a week I was so shaky! But talk about energy!
