My sister just went through an awful bout of hemhroids.

It was terrible,we tried everything out there,Tucks pads,PreperationH ointment,pads,suppositories. Finally she called her Doctors office and the Nurse told her to use Phillips Milk of Magnesia. All the other things were just aggrevating the problem.

The Nurse also told her that sometimes they are inside and you think it's the ones that are out causing all the discomfort. The Phillips gave her quite a bit of relief,the Doctor told her to start taking Metemucil and she's been pain free so far.

They did send her for a Colonoscopy,everythng was fine,she did have interal hemhroids thou.

Stupid, stupid question, but your sister was ingesting the MOM, not applying it to anything, right? Just checking, as I've heard of people applying MOM to zits.

I know doing daily kegels also helps (from after my pregnancy). HTH
