Default Free laminating during August

Office Max is offering FREE laminating serivce the month of August on Thursdays. There can only be a single cut on the laminating roll. I took in a lot of little craft poems (about 50 the size of 4x6 index cards). They kept feeding them thru the laminator with no problem. I took the long roll and cut out each poem individually when I got home.

This is an excellent deal for crafters, teachers or anyone. Laminating is expensive, so gather up your projects and head over to OM on THURSDAY'S ONLY for this promo.

Can you confirm if this is nationwide...is it in the flyer?

DD has something she needs to have laminated...game board size...is that too big?

It's for teachers. If you go to the Office Max website and click on "print services" up at the top, you get to a page with a yellow banner, "Hey, Teachers! FREE Lamination." Click it for a few more details. It doesn't give any state restrictions.

I called Corporate offices about 2 weeks ago when I first saw this deal at the Office Max site. I spoke to someone in Marketing who informed me this deal was available to Homeschoolers also. I was at Office Max yesterday and the associate in the imPress dept. told me that the width can't be greater then 23" wide. Length there is no limit on length. There is also no limit to how many items can be laminated. You MUST be a teacher or homeschooler and have ID to prove that. Also, the Laminating orders MUST be dropped off on Thursdays to qualify for FREE laminating!!

HTH!!

I wonder if this would work for preschools. We are just starting a preschool at our church this year and this would be a great thing for us! I have lots of flashcards that I was going to laminate with contact paper, but this would be soooooo much better. I don't even care if I had to cut them all out, I'd have to anyway. Thanks so much op for this tip.

YES it is available to Preschools!!!

The only other thing that corporate told me was that it has to be school related materials, so of course your flashcards would totally fit under that catergory!!

I called my local Office Max and ask them if I could use the coupon. I am not a teacher. She said no problem, just bring the coupon in. I will be using it for flashcards for my preschooler, but she didn't even ask.

I took a HUGE pile of stuff to Office Max last Thursday. No problem on the laminating, although the gal tried to intimidate me by saying that I had to meet ALL of the restrictions/exceptions on her two-page single-spaced typed list. I did. I have no idea what all was on her list, but the only thing she said was mandatory that she could not tell from looking at my stack was that you have to have a Max Perks Teacher Perks card. They are free at the front registers, but I already had one in hand. Just be prepared to leave your stuff for a week. I am now homeschooling for a week without any of my visuals!
