Even without the teacher's max perks it would be a great deal on 2 cases of paper!

I got an email today for $15.00 off any $75.00 online order for my birthday yesterday so I thought I would check it out and see if I needed anything. They have the Hammerhill printer paper on sale for 39.99 a case
plus $30.00 in max perks rewards back. So here is what I did.
79.98 (2 cases of paper @ 39.99=20 reams, 5000 sheets)
+6.60 Tax
+0.00 free shipping for order over $75.00
=86.58 Total
-16.24 ( I forgot to enter the code for the $15.00 off so I called and they gave me credit for $15.00+1.24 tax) then...
-60.00 (30.00 max perks rewards x 2)
-10.00 (teachers max perks rewards for an order over 75.00)
=.34 after rewards and discounts!
The rewards will not be available to me until April 1st. Teachers cards only cash in every quarter. The paper was on my front porch this afternoon!! So if you homeschool or are a teacher you can get this deal also. Just sign up for the Max perks cards and then make your order. Really sweet if you have a birthday and they will give you the 15.00 extra. Still a great deal if you do not get the extra 15.00! BTW my birthday is at the end of the month. So it is worth a try if you have a birthday in FEB.
Even without the teacher's max perks it would be a great deal on 2 cases of paper!
Mother of 4 just trying to make it day to day
I thought that if you have a $$ amount off of a purchase, your max perks rewards will be reduced by the $$ amount you received off your purchase. That is what my local store manager told me a few days ago.
Is he incorrect?
