I interpreted the last line to mean that you had a chance at one of the cards they reference. You have a chance at one of the 4 values when you spend $50 dollars - just my interpretation, but I remember looking at it this morning with the same OMG moment - I'm sure the $50 ones will be few and far in between......

Yep...they hand you a card and it may be 5 it may be 10......It may be 50....You just never know!

I'm glad ya'll explained this cause there would have been a big ugly scene at OfficeMax the first day. I read it the same way the OP did. That would have been embarrassing.

I was in last night and only got a $5 card. I'd imagine that's what most people will get. Still, it's better than nothing....

I have never been inside an Office Max, so was unclear as to what a 'rewards card ' was.
I thought it was just a diff name for a gift card. I'm glad I asked because I'm guessing there are others who may have thought diff too. I may still do it because I need ink though.




Kinda mis-leading like the Electronic Express ads. Buy an MP3 get 50 free down loads.....what a rip.
