|  Yes, Office Depot does take competitors Gc
We have a new office depot ,does office depot take competitors Gc
I have a 20.00 GC well it is paper and says staples dollars
on it and expires 6/24/08 and has my name on it, will office depot take it???

I worked there years ago and they did not take GC's
But, they did have a 110% price guarantee. So day one of a sale, if you get there first am, before they change the prices to match competitor ads, you get the lower price plus 10% of the difference. This is great for clearance items. You just have to bring something showing them the price. In addition to any competitor coupons and they match competitor deals for free products.

O.K. drum roll, please,,,,,,,,,,I went today and asked Office depot in person, assuming they would probably say no, when to my surprise I got an emphatic YES!!!  . You could have blown me over with a feather.
I actually said "Are you sure, you will accept competitor's gift cards or gift certificates?" He just laughed (in a good way) and again said Yes, we do!
