I took a look back at the ad and it states FREE after $80 in 2 MIRs. It does not seem that either of the two rebates are current user rebates. If these are the same rebates from a month ago, I did them and neither required that you be the owner of a previous version of the software. Just make sure at the store before you check out.

Paying with rewards has not precluded me in the past from obtaining rebates sponsored by Office Depot. These, however, are manufacturer rebates and not Office Depot sponsored rebates. Therefore, the possibility of them trying to get out of it does exist, but I think it is unlikely. As Office Depot Rewards are a form of payment and not a "coupon" by definition you could challenge it if they try not to honor the rebates and I believe you would be successful. Just be sure to keep a copy of your entire submission.
