Office Depot $2.00 sale calendars, planners, organizers, oh my!

Yes, they are normally expensive but there is an instore sale for $2.00 ea.

I found these today and it is for the 2008 calendars, etc. Various brands: Franklin Covey, DayRunner, At-A-Glance...and all sizes from teeny-tiny to full notebook size. I was excited especially since I went in to get a planner anyway and then found them for $2. I got several different ones and they go through Jan 09, so that's 6mo of calendar for $2 or about .33 a month. HaHaHa!

I guess the post did sound like a sale, but at my store it was a clearance. They had all the planners on a rolling cart kind of thing (3 shelves) with a sign that said "2008 Planners, calendars, organizers...$2". I'm not really sure if it would be a YMMV thing or at all stores. I assume when they sell out then they're gone. It also had 2008 graduation stuff for .50. I found a few things in there that were not dated, like envelopes and stickers and stuff.
