Any pics of stockpile-composed Gift Baskets? Need creative inspiration...

I am giving a "New Mom Survival Kit" basket as a gift. No pics to show, but I regifted the basket and some lotions. I added a nail polish (free), a listerine pocket pack (20 cents), sample of breast lotion, hand sanitizer ($2), box of breast pads ($5), razor (free I think), candy (free), etc. Total cost...probably $8...but that includes the breast pads and sanitizer that I wanted to add.

thanks for the shout out in the original post! The spa basket went over very well at Christmas, along with the "glam pack" that I put together for the other cousin who loves anything that has to do with make-up. I wish I would have taken pictures!

I also wrote "goofy" things on the cards but made a point of telling them to take time to spend on themselves.

They had red, green and blue for 99 cents.
I am going to use mine for Valentines Day but the red or green would work for next years Christmas.
If you have the CVS $3 of any cvs product you can get a nice back brush for the bath for 99 cents. It has a long handle and would work great in this basket.
I will post later this month with the finished basket.

I love all these amazing posts on this thread! I am new to this, but I am going to start stock piling for Christmas 2009! This year we were SO broke at Christmas and did not have money for any extra gifts. We bought for our kid and that was it! Now that I have this idea...I am going to get to it and start for next year!

We're having a silent auction at church next Sunday to raise money for our sister church in the Sudan and our local food pantry. I made two baskets- one was a spa basket with some "Say Yes to Carrots" and "Yes to Tomatoes" body butter (1.99 each on Black Friday), some St. Ives Element Scrub and Cleanser (free), Bioinfusion Shampoo (free) and some body wash from BBW (.69). I used a basket I had at home and added a bath pillow and body puff from the dollar store. I got the shrink wrap with a bowat the dollar store. The next was a "Stuff You Need" basket- A can of Pledge, a box of Electrasol, a tube of Colgate, a roll of Reynolds wrap, two bottles of Excedrin, a bottle of Pert shampoo and a Johnson buddies bar. I bought a plastic bin at the dollar store and put the stuff in it and shrink wrapped it. I dropped these off at church on Sunday and everyone loved the "Stuff You Need Basket". Evertything in that was free! I'll let you know how much they go for.

I'd love to hear more ideas, too! We have lots of extended family and putting together some stockpile items in to a nice gift basket is a great way to be able to give everyone a li'l something.

Last Christmas I did six months worth of HBA for everyone in my family-dad, stepmom, five sisters and one brother!! I put all their stuff in laundry baskets I got for $2ea at Meijer. I also saw the same ones in blue at Walmart the other day on clearance for $1. Everyone could always use an extra laundry basket!

I'd like to know if anyone does a small gift for your favorite cashiers? I thought of putting something together and have a clever card attached thanking them for their patience, etc.

Put whatever up to what youll want 2 recieve in a great basket an there goes a perfect basket. Its the thought an time you put into it that counts. I do it all the time even for the very young cashiers that have more patience 2 take all my coupons an not batt a evil eye. An always over excited to see my totals
