Another use for all the Pert Shampoo

Do you think the animal shelter would accept it (to use as dog shampoo)? I was planning to sell it, but this may be a back-up plan cuz I've got tons of it.

A little off the subject but still on what to do with stockpile items. Yesterday when I brought home the Softsoap body wash, which I swore I wasn't going to buy, DH thought it was hand soap. Then it dawned on me, why can't you use bodywash for hand soap? Has anybody ever tried this? I have tons of bodywash and the kids go through soap like crazy. I'm sure a lot of you already have a stock pile of hand soap too

In a pinch I've put body wash in the hand soap container and it seemed to work fine. FYI - if we're out of body wash I've been known to put cheap shampoo in the body wash bottle my DH uses and he can't tell the difference - that was my back up plan for all this Pert!

Thanks! I'm gonna try Pert on my dogs for sure. Dog shampoo is so expensive & frankly it takes so much to get a good sudsy adventure going. If you use other flea stuff, why not use free shampoo, eh?

Soap is soap, why not use it? I always use cheap soap to clean my tbowl every day. Takes just a couple of secs before the showere....Squirt, swish + flush....

Just to add my 2 cents!! I've been using pert to wash our Terrier and he smells great!!

As for the shampoo as hand soap I've been using it for years!! I found a good deal on Suave like around $.29 cent and grab so much I thought what am I gonna do with all this and then I got to thinking the kids go thru handsoap like it's water so why not use it as that. You use your hands when you wash your hair and it doesn't damage them so why not wash your hands with it!! And if you get those new foam hand soap dispensers when their empty a little shampoo and a little water mixed into the container and it comes out like foam too!! Instant refill!!

Don't use the Softsoap spa stuff with the scrubbing beads in the hand soap dispenser. It gets gummy and messy after a while.

I also like to use my shampoo instead of shave gel. Lathers nicely, smells good and minimal razor burn (no more than with shave gel).
