PM and Coupons??

I tried to have my NEX PM with an ad I had, and wanted to use a coupon ontop of that and they told me no, that is was double dipping?? How can that be?? IMO if I can drive to X store and use the coupon then it should be useable. Thought id save some gas + tax but I guess it is not allowed??

Also IF you can pm and coupon, does it make a diff if it is a manu or military only coupon you are using?? Im wondering because a military coupon you cannot use in town so you wouldnt be getting that price anywhere else anyway.

AAFES had the same policy until 2006.
i have an email dated 2006 from AAFES that they WILL allow BOTH PM AND a coupon.

i would contact NEX if i were you...

I request AAFES reconsider the "no manufacturer coupon in conjunction with price matching".

Manufacturer's reimburse the retailer the face value of the coupon PLUS 8c. Does price matching somehow negate the retailer's reimbursement by the coupon issuer/manufacturer? If it does not, then allowing the customer to use a coupon in conjunction with a price match would benefit the customer and not negatively impact the retailer.

We reconsidered the question and agreed there should be no problem in accepting the challebge and manufacturers xoupon in the same transaction.

Thank you for your inquiry. Generally speaking, retailers are reimbursed for coupons by the manufacturer (not coupons issued by other retailers under their own name). The NEX will match the shelf price for the identical item, same brand, model number, manufacturer, etc. The coupon may then be used.

I recommend contacting a manager at NEX Lemoore for assistance. A copy of this message has been sent to NEX Lemoore.

military only coupons ARE manufacturer coupons intended for use by military members on military bases.

that really should not matter. they are price matching the retailer sale. the coupon is a separate offer and they'll get reimburse regardless of what the price is at the register.
