Double Coupon Days?

I went today for the double coupon day, and it was awesome!! I got $31 worth of stuff for $1.51. They doubled everything (the highest q I had was $4) no problem. I also found out that our 7 day store also doubles coupons on this day so that may work for some food items. This may be the only perk of living in the middle of nowhere! I've already got next month's date on my calendar.

We are stationed in NC and our exchange did it for a few months. They would double coupons up to $2 every Monday. It was a great deal, especially if you had a larger coupon....ex: $5 dog food, they would take that and an additional $2. Sadly, they ended it this month because too many people were doing it. Can't say that I'm surprised as there were many people who paid less than $5 for a cartful of items. Maybe our next assignment will have something like this.

I'm in your area too Doris. If you hear of any double coupons please let me know and I'll do the same! Just got back from the commissary a few hrs ago. They have Smart Start strawberry cereal for 2.19 with a rebate for a free box inside the box.

Hi, We're at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC and our exchange has double coupons every Monday. They used to double up to $2 but have changed it recently to $1. I love it when I have a high coupon b/c they take that and then give you the extra $1. I have a sizeable stockpile of deodorant and shampoo that I have gotten for free!!! This is great to share with family & friends as well as to donate to local charities or to send with the troops when they deploy. I would suggest signing up for the buddy list at your local exchange to get emails of the specials they are running. Happy shopping everyone!

Thanks for the information. I think I am going to the commissary tomorrow. Wish we had double coupons at our PX. Harris Teeter has triples this week if you buy outside of the commissary.
