It may only be used in a military commissary or exchange. It will not be reimbursed if it is turned in to a regular store.
I picked up some q's yesterday for $1 off any fresh express complete salad, and where it normally says "manufacturer's coupon" next to the exp. date this q states "military coupon". What does this mean? The barcode starts with a 5 and it says to submit to Fresh Express for redemption...

So now my question is why were they on display in a Safeway in the PDX area? Is anyone else getting these?

HI!
I'm new to the board, but not coupon-ing. I was at Vons (owned by safeway) and they had the same ones in from of the salad display. I asked the produce guy, he said a vendor set the little box up and they'd accept them- and they sure did (and doubled them!) I grabbed a few extra.
I htink the vendor probably made an error. Military store coupon replcaes manufacturer coupon. I would probably not use them unless you check with the store manager first, as the store will more than likely not be reimbursed by the company.

Well, our Harris Teeter will accept competitors coupons and they always take my "Military store only" coupons. And I have lots of them because I shop at the commissary often.
