Went to commissary today and boy I had a great trip! I originally went to do some price checking, but I couldn't resist using some coupons! 96% savings w/ over 101 in savings and about $8 out of pocket! The surcharge was $6 and some change so it was basically like just paying the tax on my purchase! Here are some of the deals I found
I had about 8 freebie coupons that I used making me pretty happy!!!
Del Monte pasta sauce in a can $.50. If you write to the company telling them you love their sauce they will send you $.50 coupons making this free! I found these on an end cap and not all of the sauces were on sale so be sure to check the price before expecting to only pay the $.50.
Oxy facial pads, they are round and come in a square container with a round lid, black and red in color. $2.57 each use $3 off oxy product not sure which insert it is from but it made $.47 overage!
My store just barely got the Nesquik 7 servings packs in and I didn't have my $.60/1 q with me, but they were $.57 each making it a $.03 mm. I ordered a case....
Took advantage of the Equal blue box, I only had 4 coupons, but hey it was $2 overage! I also got 4 boxes of the pink Equal, which was all they had, but I also ordered a case of these. Plan to use a ton of coupons with this one!
Also got Muir Glen tomato paste for $.73 each and used the $.85/1 IP for a little bit of overage.
I was a bit disappointed that the hungry jack pancake mix went up in price making them no longer free. They were $.59 each and after q still a really great price of $.09 each. I bought 19 of these and 1 bottle of syrup lol, using 10 $1/2 hungry jack q's. Not sure which insert they are from but you can find in the q data base.
Took advantage of the Kashi cookies on sale for $1.99, using $2/1 IP from recycle bank making them free!
Also got free Country Crock butter, on sale for $.99 and used $1 off coupon from All You Dec mag.
Also bought the KY, it went up in price to $1.92, but still a bit of overage. $2/1 from Dec All You mag
The Idahoan potatoes packs were on sale for $.69, I used the $1/1 IP, I got 4 of these through various trade trains so I enjoyed that!
I found some M&M stocking stuffer tubes that have an Blue M&M guy on top of it for $1. I used the $1/1 any mars holiday candy q from Dec All You mag making them $.50 each. I purchased 10 of these, only had 5 q's, plan on donating 8 as I have 2 kids and they would enjoy these.
Orzarka sparkling water, $.64 each, used $1/1 IP making $.36 overage!
I don't have my receipt on hand, so I can't remember what else I got but it was a great trip none the less, plus I got my price checks. I will be adding them in my own spread sheet and if I find any other deals I will post them. All IP's that I mentioned can be found in my wish list if you are looking for the link. I am planning huge trip for next week. I am hoping to donate a bunch of items I have stored up the past 2 months. My stock pile is not huge but my family will be taken care of for a while and I would like to see other families that are not as fortunate as I am feel like they don't have to worry about at least some things. I hope that shopping trip will go as well as this one did!
P.S. I contacted colgate through their website, they sent me some AWESOME coupons that can be used on trial size items and most of them will give you overage!!! It pays to contact your companies!!!
That is awesome!!!
