Default Couponing Class to Military Wives

Hi. I'm teaching a couponing class to a group of military wives at the end of the month. I've never been in the military so I'm not quite sure what the differences are for them versus a civilian when it comes to bargain shopping (i.e. the commissary, etc)

What unique aspects should I cover for them?

I don't want to go into too much in depth on this part because it's just a basic "Couponing 101" class but I don't want to leave it out either.

    Thanks for all your help!!

In the states commissaries are a bit different vs overseas. Overseas we get to use coupons for 6 months past expiration date.
Overage is allowed and there is usually never any doubling.
Rules Vary from Commissary to Commissary but most require that the coupon states manufacturers coupon and the rules on printables vary greatly. The ones that do take them will not take printables for free items.
I am trying to think of other stuff but its 6 am here and im still working on my first cup of coffee :D

I dont think their is much of a difference. Aside from I dont think that the commisary is allowed to give cash back on coupons. but most other stores are like that as well anyways. Buti do know people have gotten cash back at walmart for instance. I dont think their are limits to the number of coupons you can use at the commisary either. You might wanna go to the forum for the commisary and read the FAQ and such to jot down some notes. But just let them know that the commisary isnt the only place they have to shop. Im a military wife., I rarely ever shop at the commisary. Although you can come across some good deals there like anywhere else. But best bet would be to look at the commisary forum and read their coupon policy. And just let them know they can shop other grocers and stores etc to score good deals. My parents used to only ever shop the commisary when i was growing up. I usually shop everywhere else but the commsary. At the px you can stack coupons. an aafes coupon with a manufacturer. but they like for you to give the coupons with each item and not at the end of the transaction! I figured that out the hard way!
