Background: The printable (which I think it is no longer available) for the $6/2 listed both regular Motrin and Motrin PM, where the insert coupon from the 1/9 SS says "products listed" and only shows PM...they actually have the exact same barcode, but I didn't think it would be right to use the insert q since the language on that coupon didn't allow it.

Anywhoooo - the deal was that the regular Motrin is priced at $2.86, so there's a slight overage on the small bottles of regular Motrin. If you have the printable, then go for it!

when i printed mine, they are good on the 25ct or higher motrin.
the 2.86 motrin IB is 20ct or 24ct so does not work w/ my IP.
i'll check again next trip for another motrin 2.86 product ...
    thanks!

my take is DECA either made an error or does not know what a IP coupon PIN is ...
So here's me playing devil's advocate:
How do the Commissaries justify taking printables from www.maxisavergroup.com then? I just printed mine for March and there is NO PIN & NO dotscan barcode on a single one of them!

For example, the Ruffles $1/2 Chips & Dip coupon only has a standard barcode and a GS1 Databar - no pin, no dotscan barcode. However, these are restricted to use at a commissary only!!! These are perfectly acceptable IP's ~ I've NEVER been questioned on their use. So, if these coupons meet minimum requirements, then so do the Blue Bunny coupons, the ScotchBrite coupons, etc. (at least IMHO!)

I think the "PIN" DeCa's referencing truly is the numbers under the barcode, and it is unfortunate that Smartsource also prints another kind of PIN on their printables. Plus I looked at my printables from coupons.com today - I don't see any PIN language on those, either...

    all great observations!

coupons.com IPs do not need a PIN since they have the Dot Scan Barcode located under the expiration date (it must be there per the terms of the coupon) and they also have the GS1 bar code.

i didn't know about the MS coupons - i'll print to keep as example for future reference at checkout ;)

it's possible the Product Identification Number (PIN) DECA is referring to may be the numbers directly under the barcode. i've had some IP coupons beep and the cashier will sometimes match the numbers under the coupon barcode to the product UPC ... i will have to email DECA on this one also.
