COMMISSARY: Do you stay away on the 1st & 15th

Do you stay away from the commissary around the 1st and 15th of the month? I used to make weekly shopping trip to my local commissary but found that on payday the prices seem to be so much higher.
So now I tend to "stay away" around those dates. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the price changes on the 1st and 15th??

I never noticed any price changes. but i usually avoid paydays for the simple reason of it being super busy specially if those days fall on a weekend!

the only time i avoid is case lot sales.

i go first thing in the AM on weekends and it's usually not very busy.

Yes. I try and go in the in between weeks. It's less crowded, more stuff on the shelves and the prices fluctuate more near payday.

Yes, I try to avoid payday, case lot sales and the 4-day Holiday weekends.

if i remember the date... but holiday weeks are worse! and they change the sales and some of the prices around 1st and 15th thats why you notice the changes...i check online site before i go to make sure that what i wanted was still on sale ..if not then maybe i regroup... or not...
