    Default Questions about commissary shopping

DS is a Marine who just got to his first base. He has called asking for me to send coupons and I want to help him save money.

I saw a post about a booklet with coupons, where can he find this?

Where can he find coupons at the commissary, would it be just like at a regular grocery store or do they have them in special spots?

Thanks for any help and pointers you can give me to forward to him.

At my store, there are usually coupons at the entrance to the store. There are often books filled with military only coupons such as the Maxi Saver, and a family magazine (name escapes me). New editions come out monthly. PG Savers like you get in the Sunday paper are also usually up front for people to take.

There are also usually fliers that will show you sale prices on certain items for the month.

Some stores will only hand out coupon books on certain days, but I've never had store like this.

You should send him links to this forum so he can get a feel for what deals are out there.
